As the planners were approving minutes, Sid Gottlieb, who represents the Board of Zoning Appeals on the Planning Commission, said planners must be very careful in amending the minutes that the changes they make reflect what actually happened rather than what “they wish they had said.”
Although the official minutes are the record of the meeting, the tape of the August meeting w'hen the planners recommended approval of the amendment banning sludge has been made available to both sides.
Phil Irwin suggested the planners allow a time for public input regularly at their meetings. He also reported that plans for the U,S. 29 corridor will affect the county. He said the state is trying to improve the road to make it a major northsouth traffic corridor between 1-95 and 1-81. He attended meetings on the plans on behalf of the county.
