County on Aug. 20,1922, to the late Silas and Carrie Settle.

Mrs. Settle was a lifelong member of the Hope Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Settle is survived by eight children, Franklin Settle of Culpeper, John W. Settle of Rixeyville, Delsie Heflin of Culpeper, Bobby Settle of New Baltimore, Bill Settle of Castleton, Carroll Settle of 14120901Amissville, Linda Settle and Patricia Settle, both of Rixeyville; one brother, A1 Settle of Charlottesville; four sisters, Mrs. Nina Parker of Amissville, Mrs. Myrtle Settle, Mrs. Ella Rutherford, and Mrs. Marie Brown, all of Culpeper; 11 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at Hope Hill Baptist Church, near Castleton with the Rev. Milton J. Switzer Sr. officiating.

Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers were the grandsons.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Hope Hill Baptist Church.

Found & Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
