Don’t be surprised to see these ladybugs during warm spells in the middle of winter. “If we have a couple of warm days, they’ll be out again,” said Mr. Cunningham.
Ladybugs are very beneficial. They are an excellent method of biologically controlling aphids and other soft-bodied insects. Mr. Cunningham advised homeowners with ladybugs inside to try to catch them in a jar or other container and release them outdoors.
