All Day — Santa visits Peebles Department Store.
10 a.m. — The Optimist parade on Main Street with the U.S. Marine Corps and Fauquier High School bands. Rain date is 2:20 p.m. on Dec. 5.

6 p.m. — Art show and auction at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School.

5-10 p.m. — Opening reception for the public at Studio 19 at 19 Culpeper St. Acclaimed artist Maggie Siner will exhibit her latest oil paintings until Dec. 23.
Dec. 9-11
8 p.m. — The Christmas Chorale will perform at Warrenton United Methodist Church. Forty-one handbells will accompany 150 voices as adults and children present the annual “Christmas in Music” concert. A nursery for young children will be provided. Tickets can be obtained in advance at the Fauquier National Bank on Nov. 29.
