“We wanted this to be a memorable Christmas for our community,” said Ann Marie Walsh, program manager for the Partnership for Warrenton. “A really special oldfashioned kind of Christmas.”
It is through the combined efforts of the Partnership and the Old Town Association that Christmas in Old Town has been made possible.
For 12 years, the Old Town Association has put up the wreaths and lighting in the downtown area. This year, according to association president Betty Ross, new wreaths and lights need to be purchased and the association is asking the community for donations. Anyone interested in contributing call Ms. Ross at 347-2161.
