Capitol and sat in on a commitee meeting. Sen. Kevin Miller, R-26th District, was the chairman of this group known as the Privileges and Elections Committee.
When the meeting was over the 4-Hers briefly visited with Sen. Miller. '
Most agreed their favorite part had been the committee meeting. “I didn’t-know they were so open to the public and they’ll just let people come sit in,” Lindsay exclaimed.
Julie agreed, saying, “I thought that it was a neat experience to see them all joke around just as much as they work.”
On the way home Mrs. Smith explained to Lindsey that “just by being there today you’ve learned a lot about state government,”
