Our hearts go out to Mr. David Baker and family an‘d Mrs. Nina Peyton and family and all others connected upon the passing last Friday of their mother, Mrs. Virginia Baker whose services were held on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory were shoppers in Winchester on President’s Day. The Peregorys of Castleton Ford Road attended the 30th Anniversary party for Elder Wayne Richards at the Black Oak Regular Baptist Church on Sunday.
Congratulations go out to Christopher Frazier, a fourth grader and Joseph Peregory, a fifth grader at the Rappahannock Elementary school who made the honor roll for the grading period which just ended.
Mr. and Mrs. George Whorton were guests last Thursday of Mrs. Whorton’s mother, mrs. Grace Frazier in Jeffersonton.
Guests last weekend of Miss Gertrude Lewis and brother, John on Stonehouse Mountain Road was their sister, Mrs. Virginia Dalton of Richmond.
Miss Carolyn Peyton of Stafford spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Peyton coming especially for funeral services of her grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Baker on Monday.
Mrs. Shelvy Frazier of Castleton FoTd Road and her sister, made a recent trip to visit their uncle, Archie Clatterbuck in the Retirement Home at Mint Springs.

For more information please call 547-2555. ’ Elder and Mrs. Wayne Thompson of Rochelle Madison County and Mrs. Margaret Berry of Criglersville were Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Cubbage on Richmond Road. They all had attended the 30th anniversary celebration for Elder Wayne Richards at the Slack Oak Regular Baptist Church where Elder Thompson was guest speaker along with Elder Nelson Pettit as teaching Sunday School, he is from New Market and Evangelist Roger Hatfield of Ballard, West Virginia as soloist.

The Lord Fairfax Small Business ^Development Center will sponsor a workshop entitled “Internet: Your Electronic Link to the World” on Wednesday, March 6, at Lord Fairfax Community College, Middletown campus. Participants may choose between two sessions offered on the same day: 9 to 11 a.m. or 1 to 3 p.m.
