There were only seven entries in the senior division for grades nine through 12, so all the entries were winners who can advance to regional competition. Besides Michael Wharton, senior division entries going to the regional science fair are Christopher Anthony for Computer Generated 3-D Images, Brady Wolfe for a study of the Effects of Weather on Behavior, Stephanie Kestner for Illusions, Emily Taylor for Carpet Stains, and Lauren Sharp and Robin Kaye for a study of the Effects of Sports Involvement on Grades.
The junior division for students in grades five through eight was divided into several categories, with ribbons for fourth, third and second place winners and a plaque for the first place winner. All of the first place winners and some of the second place winners will advance to the regional science fair.
In Investigation first place went to Steven Clark for Experiments with Sterograms. In Chemical Botany first place went to Chris Payne for “Ageless Applesauce.” In Electricity
