Roy Fincham
Roy Franklin Fincham, 77, or Rixeyville Road in Culpeper, died on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Thomas Raymond and Pearl Frazier Fincham.
He was a retired carpenter, employed by Carlton Settle, a building contractor.
His wife was the late Helen Louise Fincham.
He is survived by two sdns Joseph' B. Fincham of Cary, N.C., and Roy J. Fincham of Culpeper; a daughter, Frances L. Leavell of Culpeper; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Roberta Compton of Culpeper.'
Graveside services were held on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper with the Rev. Floyd T. Binns officiating.
Pallbearers were Joseph Fincham, Bobby Fincham, Jack Frazier, Ronnie Frazier, Billy Sisk and Tim Sisk.
Geest Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Patricia Swierczek
Patricia Wacker Swierczek, 67, of Boston, died on Thursday, Feb. 15 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She was bom August 25, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late John Bernhardt Wacker and May Cerletty Wacker..
She was a member of the American Foreign Service Association and retired from the Foreign Service with the Department of the State. Mrs. Swierczek was a graduate of Milwaukee-Downer College.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Walter Lawrence Swierczek; three sons, John Walter Swierczek of Boston, Mark Lawrence Swierczek of Lexington Park, Md, Robert Michael Swierczek of Reston and one daughter, Lynn Margaret Swierczek of Alexandria.
She is also survived by her sister June Green of Amissville.
Mrs. Swierczek was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Hardtke.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 19 at Found & Sons Chapel in Culpeper with Father Leo Zonneveld officiating.
Eulogy was given by Wayne Duncan. Interment followed in the Swierczek Family Cemetery at Boston.
Found & Sons was in charge of the arrangements.
Virginia Baker
Mrs. Virginia Elizabeth Knott Baker, age 79, of Culpeper died on Friday, Feb. 16 at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
Mrs. Baker was bom on July 25, 1916, in Page County. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Her husband was the late Henry Baker. The Bakers lived in Rappahannock County for a number of years.
She is survived by eight sons, David Baker, Wayne Baker, Wilbert
