The Board of Supervisors voted to close the dumpsters at their February meeting. Hampton District representative Mike Massie said the supervisors will not find a central site for trash as long as the dumpsters are available. He also said closing the dumpsters will encourage free enterprise because people will form trash hauling businesses.
