Story Hour Underway The Rappahannock County Library story hour for pre-school children, ages 2 to 5, is underway and will continue 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays through May. The programs of songs, finger plays, and a story will last about thirty minutes. Children will need to be accompanied by an adult. No pre-registration is necessary.
Dance Scheduled The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17. Southern Persuasion will be the band performing. No reservations required. For more information call Shelia Scott at 937-4357.
Soccer Registration Underway Spring soccer registration forms have been distributed to all RCES students. Forms can also be picked up at the Boston Store, Hackley’s Mountainside Market, Cabin Fever Book’s and Settle’s Grocery. Fees are $20 per child. Completed forms and registration fees can be dropped off at the RCES Office or Cabin Fever Books. See registration form for mail in option. Rappahannock Soccer League would like to complete registration by the end of February, so don’t delay!
