Smiling , and lull of enthusiasm the new „ faculty members of Rappahannock’s school system are preparing to begin their first year. Their names and faces, though unfamiliar now, will be well known to the children and parents within the next few months.

The new kindergarten teacher, Denise Weyant, 39, came to Rappahannock through the recommendations of friends and she likes the community here. She sees the small school system in Rappahannock as an advantage.

Mrs. Weyant graduated with a BA. in early childhood and has earned a masters degree in early childhood and reading from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. She taught in the Fairfax County Schools and also, at the Grafton School in Berryville.

She lives in Stephens City with her family. Her husband is a primary grade teacher in tiie Fairfax County Schools and they have
