Phillip Daniel Haines, 16, of Culpeper died on Monday, Aug. 11 at his residence.
He was born in Charlottesville on Nov. 23 1980.
He was a rising Junior at Culpeper County High School.
Survivors include his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Haines of Culpeper; one brother John Michael Haines of Culpeper; one sister Crystal DuVonne Myers of Culpeper; his paternal grandmother Viola Bell Haines of Amissville; his maternal grandfather Perry Andrew St. Clair; one niece Amanda Nicole Myers; one brother-inlaw Dean Myers; aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Aug. 15 at CloreGeest Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Garland officiating.
Interment was in Culpeper National Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jay Haines, David Haines, Mark Taylor, Lee Haines, Kenneth Feaganes, John Michael Haines, John Clatterbuck and Reubin Taylor.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department.
Clore-Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangement.
