Rev. David Small and his lovely wife, Mary, treated the congregation of Amissville Baptist Church with a long overdue visit during the 11 a.m. worship service. Rev. Small was the interim preacher prior to Rev. DeLong joining the church. The door are always open for the Small’s.
Get well wishes are extended to Jonathan (Jackie) and Nicholas Hall who are both recovering from surgeries. Jackie had his adenoids removed and Nicholas had tubes put in his ears. Not a fun time for the Hall family!
Louise Smith and Margaret Meyers remain in our prayers. They were both smiling and looking great on Sunday at Amissville Baptist Church.
Josh Swatman was in church with his mother, Ema, Aug. 17. He has a “mere” three semesters left before he earns his college degree.
On Sunday, Aug. 24, Amissville United Methodist Church is having “Christmas in Liberia.” The guest speaker will be Mrs. Comfort Miller
