He moved with his family to Stephens City, Va., and took a job at a bank in Winchester.
He discovered that he was living ‘just down the road” from the main campus of Lord Fairfax in Middletown and enrolled in the business program there. He attended classes at night and continued working at the bank full time.
He completed the requirements for an associate’s degree in business management from LFCC in 1983.
