Kummli decided to leave the company and stay in Washington, D.C. “It was the best decision of my life," he says.
He started working as a brick mason and within six months he had his own bricklaying business. This business soon grew into a large construction firm. His company built thousands of housing units in Dale City.
Kummli emphasizes at every opportunity that America “is the greatest country in the world."
The Kummlis moved to Rappahannock County in 1988, after purchasing a 600-acre cattle farm in Huntly. They later added more acreage and now manage a cattle operation with close to BOO animals op 1,600 acres. f. c
