Community College System (VCCS) can be transferred to other in-state public and private institutions, as well as many out-of-state schools.
This is especially beneficial for students who have just completed high school ,but are not sure what their mqjor would be at a four-year college.
A student can embark on a fouryear course of study at a time when he or she has little knowledge of what the student wants to do after graduation.
Given the time and exposure to learning at a community college, the future and specific goals become clearer as the time of transfer nears.
