For the past few years, she has been a frequent volunteer at the elementary school and has helped with the Curriculum Enrichment Program.
In her new capacity, Linda will be working with the Headwaters Board, parents, school personnel, and community organizations, such as First Thursday, to initiate and carry out programs to increase awareness of our public schools’ needs and opportunities.
Linda sees her appointment as a chance to put into action the goal she and her husband, and many Rappahannock parents have, to make sure their children receive the best possible education. She said she is pleased to have the opportunity to help Headwaters as it works with the schools and community toward this goal and cultivates the cooperative spirit and resources of this special place in which we live.
Anyone wishing more information of Headwaters is encouraged to call Linda Tarry at the Headwaters office at 675-1819.
