Sharon Sielski, 41, has a B.A. from Clarion University and a masters degree from the University of Pittsburg, both in special education. She is going to teach special education.
She is a runner who likes to be outdoors and she likes to play baseball. She enjoys volunteering for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and mentally retarded organizations.
When asked why she was attracted to the area, Ms. Sielski said she is a Civil War buff, she loves the beauty of the area and she has friends in Virginia. She now lives in Washington, Va.
Joanne Tracy, 24, came to the area because her husband was transferred to the Dominion Semi-Conductor Plant in Manassas.
