“This fall, the Fauquier campus of Lord Fairfax will operate under the traditional, five-day-a-week college schedule,” said Dr. Kathleen Davis, dean of instruction and student services. “That means we will be open day and night.”
This big change is part of the preparation for growth that will come when the expanded campus opens in September, 1998.
And increasing the offerings and enrollment in continuing education courses at LFCC will have the double advantage of providing more educational opportunities and helping the college to grow.
“We must be sure that the curriculum meets the needs of the community,” said Davis.
