County expenses, including the commitment to pay site development expenses for the project now total $2,888,640.
The county will probably also spend about $550,000 in supporting off-site infrastructure improvements.
Expenditure/encumbrance of such a large sum of public money clearly affirms Fauquier County’s long-term commitment to seeing the project through to its conclusion.
Local Contributors
In addition to Fauquier County’s contributions, business/industrial/ club sources located in the Warrenton area have donated another $45,025.
Finally, individual citizens contributed still another $46,225. Some donations from individual contributors were quite large.
