Janet Batis of Washington baked the single layer wedding cake which featured two hearts and white icing and trimmed in small pink roses.
After a wedding trip to Middleburg, Va., the couple will live in Charles Town, West Virginia.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Van Alstyne High School in Texas. She is employed by Atlantic Coast Airlines at Dulles Airport.
The groom is a 1990 graduate of Musselman High School in West Virginia and a 1994 graduate of West Liberty State College. He is also employed by Atlantic Coast Airlines at Dulles Airport.
