“I’ve missed a couple of meetings because of my classes this summer, but I’ll catch up,” she said.
While the experience of attending classes at other schools has been beneficial, it is the Fauquier campus that is still “home.”
“At Lord Fairfax, there is a lot more individual attention,” she observed. “The classes are a lot smaller ... you know everyone there, and they know you. Sure, there are more younger people at NVCC, but I like the diversity.”
