Headwaters, the

Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation, would like to offer a resounding "thank you" to all the participating Rappahannock farms, restaurants, B&B's, wineries, and friends who helped to make our second annual fund raiser, "A Taste of Rappahannock," a smashing success!

Nearly 170 people attended the event on Saturday, Sept. 16, at the old school on Mt. Salem Avenue in Washington. As guests entered a festive tent outside the old school, they were met by county Bed & Breakfasts owners offering trays of delicious hors d'oeuvres, along with tables featuring local goat cheese, a county microbrew, and the latest vintages from local wineries.
