In a lead photograph, social workers, counselors and foster parents listen as counselor John Borgens talks about foster care and foster families. The Department of Social Services, along with Trinity Episcopal and Washington Baptist Church will sponsor a covered dish dinner for residents interested in becoming foster parents, either on an emergency or on-going basis. It's a cultural invasion at Rappahannock County High School. This year joining the regular Rappahannock County High School students are six exchange students from around the world. The students, ranging in age from 16 to 18, are hosted by Rappahannock County families from August of this year until June 1991. The Rappahannock Athletic Association, which sponsor Little League baseball in the county, elected its officers for the 1991 season. They are Jerry Brown, president; Roger Dowell, vice-president; J.B. Himmer, secretary and Lorraine Early, treasurer.
