And, a very special thanks goes out to the owners of historic Montpelier, who were our hosts for the event, and especially Louise Fletcher Tayloe and Stuart Fletcher Trope, whose hands-on hard work throughout the summer brought the house back from the ashes of vandalism to the glory of its welcoming almost 400 visitors on Sunday.
Sharing the spotlight with Montpelier was the "star" of our show, Rappahannock's own Ben "Cooter" Jones. Cooter and his wife, Alma "Mrs. Cooter" Viator, donated the tremendous talents of Cooter's Garage Band for a rollicking afternoon of good times and swinging country music.
