Have you noticed the new Post Office Site? It is looking pretty good.
They are looking to move in the first of January, so the folks at the old post office will have to deal with the Christmas rush in their small quarters. But I am sure they are looking forward to being in a new building. I have been told that there will be double the amount of post office boxes, and plenty of parking. If you want to see what it is going to look like, check out the Amissville.com web site.
Also, on the site is all the Fall Festival information. The list of vendors, community groups and participating businesses are all on the AACA page. I would like to take this week to thank all of the people who have been working all year on this event: Victoria Miller, Sharon Komar, Nancy Waldron, Mary Hoffer, Frank
