Annie K. Snead. The apples in the center offered competition for the gentlemen players. They had to peel the apples to see who could get the longest and thinnest peeling, of course they were to receive suggestions from the lady folk. With the moral support of his wife, J.E. Keyser Jr. was proclaimed the winner. Mrs. Snead also served apple pie and apple cider.

At breakfast, lunch and dinner time, both sides of Route 522 through Flint Hill are lined with cars. The reason for all the activity is the new Bradford s Restaurant, an extension of Bradford’s General Store. Mr. and Mrs. M.R. Bradford say they’d been wanting to open a restaurant for several years, and finally on June 31 of this year, they did. The novelty of having a restaurant in Flint Hill has worn off, but business is still booming so the Bradford's seem to have made a good decision. Rappahannock County High School Cross Country team under the direction of Coach John Toth began the 1975 season with two wins out of two starts.
