she soon made the full-time jump into acting.
An early break for her was a successful audition at the Circle Repertory Company. Circle had acting workshops and Johanna was cast in the workshop musical, "Three Postcards". It proved to be a workshop success, and was moved to the company's main stage, off-Broadway.
"Three Postcards" did not lead Johanna to Hollywood and a new Rolls Royce, but it did lead her to a good commercial agent, and parts in Rite-Aide, Jello and other ads, and a K-Mart commercial with Rosie
Donnell and Penny Marshall. It also was the beginning of much more acting, both in New York and elsewhere.
