A caution light has been installed on the corner of Main and Middle Streets in Washington. This light has been badly needed for years, as this is one of most dangerous corners in town. Miss Mary Elizabeth Hite will be at the Rappahannock Fair Saturday and will be glad to autograph her book "My Rappahannock Story Book" for anyone wishing her to do so. She will also have a few of the books on hand to sell. Page and Frank Moffett are quite the men around town this week. They are the proud owners of t-shirts with Washington and Lee 19?? written on them. They were presented to the young gentlemen by Cy Young of Washington & Lee. Class 2 for veterans enrolling for Institutional On-Farm Training is being formed at the Rappahannock High School with John R. DeBergh as instructor. All eligible veterans who are interested should contact D.D. Miller or J.R. DeBergh and make application, as veterans must be enrolled by June 30, 1951, if they are to receive their benefits. Mr. and Mrs. R.V. Snead entertained at bridge at their home Thursday evening, an apple motif was the feature of the party. Mrs. Snead had as a centerpiece on each table one big red apple, and a yellow apple, also yellow daisies. The apples were grown in the orchard of Mrs.
