Everyone loves a good back rub. Fauquier Hospital has been running a once-monthly program on this most basic form of therapeutic massage.
The "Massage for Couples" session held recently at the hospital's Education Center was aimed at helping couples cope with the tensions of today's high-stress environment.
"Husbands and wives learn to help each other after a tough day at the office or with the kids at home," said Julie Maybach, a registered physical therapist who works in Fauquier Hospital's physical medicine and rehabilitative services department.
