The boys were paced by Phillip Thomas and Chris Graves who finished first and second in the meet with times of 23:09 and 25:51. Five other Rapp boys finished the three plus mile course including John Sheffield who finished in 29 minutes flat. The girls’ team also won as Manassas Park failed to field any lady runners. Alyssa Berry was first for the girls with a time of 28:22 and Erica Hilscher came in second. Four other Lady Panthers completed the course.

Other sports info.

The open gym for basketball will be open every Saturday between now and January. Girls in the sixth to 12 grades have between 9 and 11 a.m. on Saturdays to come and "shoot around" or play pick-up games. Boys have the same opportunity between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Attendance has been small at the first two sessions and more players and parents are needed to keep this activity productive.
