Prior to the public comments, the Planning Commission discussed procedures and schedules for hearing the application. Mr. Luke noted that, under the County ordinance, the Planning Commission has 90 days to make a decision, and could request an additional sixty days from the Board of Supervisors. The Board of Supervisors then has "reason*able time1' to act upon the Planning Commissions recommendations. Mr. Luke suggested that the Commission "make an early determination as to whether you can get done within the 90 days and request, if needed, the additional 60 days." He also noted that further extensions are possible with the consent of the applicant.
