The Planning Commission favorably considered an application from Roy Lee Pullen for a family apartment on Keyser Run Road. Neighbor Rob Sherwood spoke in opposition, noting that he expected that the location of the proposed two bedroom home would destroy his views, and he asked that the house site be moved to the other side of the main house so that he “wouldn’t have to look at it for the rest of my life.”
Mr. Pullen said that there was not adequate room on the other side, and he explained that the proposed site was screened by a grove of trees that would protect the Sherwood’s view.
Mr. Sherwood appeared surprised and somewhat relieved by that information.
The Commission voted unanimously to forward the application to the Board of Zoning Appeals.
