•Monarchos: Of course, it could just as well be Monarchos who beats Point Given. That colt decimated the field in the Florida Derby in March and followed that effort up with a good second in Congaree’s Wood. Should improve off that effort, and he could be flying in the lane, picking of the leaders and running right past Point Given.

•Millennium Wind: There’s something familiar about this colt. Oh, yeah ... his half-brother, Charismatic, won the Derby and Preakness two years ago. A lot of ability, though he’s still green. Has been suffering through skin rashes and hoof problems this spring, but his victory in the Blue Grass Stakes three ’weeks ago was very impressive.
