threw out the first hall on the softball field. Both of these tosses preceded the varsity games with Madison County' High School teams that afternoon.
Mr. Estes and Mr. Anderson, as well as fellow board member, Mr. S. Bryant Lee all spoke to those in attendance reiterating what a great day it was for the. county and thanking numerous individuals for what they had contributed, to include Joel Daczewitz of the Lions Club; Mr. John McCarthy, the county administrator; and Curtis Crawford, to mention a few.
Also in attendance was the; Superintendent of Schools, Dr.David Gangel and several" school board members including Mrs. Aline Johnson, Mrs. Rosa Crocker and Mrs. Rose Ann Sharp.
