Brunch planned at Bleu Rock
An appreciation brunch for members of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program will be held at the Bleu Rock Inn on Thursday, April 26 at 11 a m. The brunch is for all senior citizens of Rappahannock County wfjo are active members of the program, Contact Jeanie McNear, Volunteer coordinator at 6753329 for information if needed.
Benefit car wash planned
A benefit car wash will be held on Saturday. April 28 beginning at 1 p.m. at the 211 Quickie Mart. The charge will be $5 per car.
All proceeds will go to the Sidney Dodson Cerebral Palsy Fund. Sidney was bom 14 weeks premature, weighing only two pounds and 13 ounces. Caucus, barn dance slated
The Rappahannock County Democratic Caucus will be held on Saturday, April 28 at noon at The Theatre at Washington on Gay Street and will be followed by a bam dance and picnic hosted by the Shenandoah County Democratic Committee. Band Boosters to meet

Croquet Classic at Gray Ghost
Join Gray Ghost Winery for a day of Victorian fun! Gray Ghost will host its first Croquet Classic on Saturday, May 5 with festivities beginning promptly at 11 a m. Participants will play in two qualifying rounds before the Grand Championship Game! Awards will be presented following the games
Interested players must contact the winery to make reservations: space is limited. Entrance fee to play is $25 per person and includes the games, Croquet Classic T-shirt, Gray Ghost logo glass and a glass of wine. Reservations may be made for a box lunch or bring a picnic. Open House at Belle Meade
Belle Meade Day Camp, an active outdoor program for girls and boys, ages 6 to 13, welcomes prospective and current campers at attend Open House Sunday, May 6 and Sunday, June 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. Camp runs for five two-week sessions from June 18 to Aug. 24.

Relay benefit planned
A Relay for Life fund raiser will be held at the Chester Gap fire hall on Saturday, April 28 from 7 to 10 p.m. featuring the Page County Ramblers. There will be food, door prizes and good music. Admission is free. For additional information call 635-2073.
Bus trip to Flower Mart
The Washington National Cathedral will hold their annual “Flower Mart 2001” May 4 and 5. This year’s theme is A Salute to France. Because of parking problems at the Cathedral, Trinity Church in Washington charters a bus and invites others who would like to attend this beautiful event to join them. The trip is planned for May 4 and will depart at 8 a.m. from Washington, making one stop at St. James in Warrenton on Culpeper Street at 8:30 for everyone paid in advance.
Featured activities will include French entertainment, herb and flower sales, tours and tower climbs, vendors with wonderful foods and unique gifts. For reservations call Betty Webb at 937-5689 and mail to her a check made payable to Tnnity ECW for $20, which covers your bus trip and includes a tip for the driver. The bus should leave for return at 2 p.m., to arrive in Warrenton by 3:30 and Washington by 4 p.m. The deadline is when the bus is filled.
