The intrepid Jon Little may not be from Rappahannock County, but his parents are. And Rappahannock County may not be blessed with those winter blizzards and sub-zero temperatures that enable sled dogs to run some 1100 miles under the most brutal of conditions and under the barest margins of control by the musner but, in a sense, Jon’s success in the Iditarod brings that race home to Rappahannock.
