New room
The classroom area in John Norman’s shop at Rapppahannock County High School is being refurbished due to a generous grant from the Jesse and Rose Loeb Foundation. During their lifetimes, Jesse and Rose Loeb were generous in their gifts to many worthy charities. Now their foundation carries on their vision: to use their resources to benefit the citizens of Fauquier County and surrounding areas. The grant funds will pay for classroom upgrades including improvements to the enclosure, a new ceiling and better lighting, new floor covering, a secure storage locker for students’ VICA (Vocational/Industrial Clubs of America) uniforms, and new furniture. Building, maintenance students are assisting in the construction.
