Much of Dr. Skinner’s treatment includes soft tissue work, cranial work, manipulation, and nutrition. “Rappahannock people are notoriously independent, that is, they look outside the system to take care of themselves,” said Dr. Skinner who feels his treatment may be able to offer what they are seeking. His specialty is treating people with chronic problems they feel nobody has been able to help them with. “It is a matter af being a good mechanic and being able to diagnose the system,” said Dr. Skinner.
If Dr. Skinner is not using his hands to heal patients, he is using them to landscape. Dr. Skinner’s true hobby is gardening and he says, “people and plants just are not that different because they both have very specific needs to thrive and be healthy.”
