‘Family Affair’ April 30

The Rappahannock Lions Club cordially invites county residents to its Annual Auction at Bill Payne’s Auction Gallery, Route 211, Amissville, on April 30. The evening will be a family outing with food, fun and socializing with your neighbors. Children are welcome.
Items can be viewed from 4 to 5:00 p.m. The actual auction begins at 5:00 p.m.
Halfsmokes, hotdogs and other good food items will be available at 4 p.m. and throughout the evening under the hand of Larry Grove and Roger Welch. Lions Club members and the RCHS Leos Club will assist with the auction activities.
All proceeds from this event will be used in Rappahannock County to help county residents, other organizations providing helpful services, and special events for the children throughout the year. By first donating items for auction and by participating in the auction, county residents contribute to the needs of the county and to the organizations that provide the services. The Lions Club efforts are for the whole of Rappahannock County.
President Ken Marlor asks residents “to be charitable” and donate resalable items and then “join in for a fun evening at the auction.” Lions Club members will pick-up items or contributions can be dropped off at Payne’s throughout the day of the auction.
