Comprehensive Plan could possibly create a “doughnut” effect for the town.
“The county is pushing growth at the gateways,” said recently appointed Town Planning Commission member, Mary Ann Kuhn, “does this mean there are going to be lines drawn around the town?”
Town vice-mayor Reinhardt Lynch added, “We should look at county zoning right outside the town’s limits before we try to decide what we want. We don’t want a “Disneyland effect” in this little town.”
