For this reason, Diane will be armed with a van to drive tired riders, while John will be available to nde further with those up for a challenge. The couple has also enlisted the help of Robert Tfeixeira, a USCF (United States Cycling Federation) racer and a certified USA expert cycling and fitness coach who will be pn hand to challenge the most accomplished riders or assist those who may need help.

With lunches at Oasis and Sharp Rock Wineries, it will not be a surprise if several guests opt for the more relaxed ride home.

“We really want to create the dream vacation,” said Diane. “My ideal vacation is doing something active every day so that when you sit down to eat you know you deserve it and can really enjoy it,” she added. The MacPhersons said that for them the tour is not so much a money making venture, but really a way to share the things they love with others.

The couple shares an avid love of cycling. Diane began cycling when she was 20 and does it more as a form of exercise and a way to unwind and reflect after a busy day. John, on the other hand, has ridden seriously for 22 years and has been a USCF bike racer.

With three tours planned for dates in June, July, and August the MacPhersons are eagerly looking forward to them. With only 10 spaces in each tour, guests can be assured that they will not have to hassle with large groups.
