RAAC Call to Artists
Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community is pleased to announce ‘Artists of Rappahannock County Studio and Gallery Tour’ scheduled Nov. 5-6. WCDS Book Fair
Summer required reading titles, new releases and classics, and wonderful gift books for preschool through 12th grade readers will be available at the Book Fair to be held at Wakefield Country Day School Tuesday, April 26 through Friday, April 29 each day from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and also from 6 p.m. to 7 p m. on Friday, April 29. Relay for Life teams sponsor yard sale
The Relay for Life Cancer Walk teams are hosting a big yard sale at the Rappahannock County High School on Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All donations and proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. Frank and Joe show

Rappahannock Spring Plant Sale
Local and nearby growers will be gathering at Waterpenny Farm in Sperryville, Saturday, April 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This sale offers one stop shopping for annual, perennial, herb, and vegetables plants, as well as fruit, nut and ornamental trees and shrubs. Students from the Rappahannock High School farmto-table program will be selling plants they have grown. Apple Hill Bakery will be selling food and drink. Some of the proceeds from the vendor fees will go to Waterpenny Farm low-income share program through the Capital area Food Bank. Waterpenny Farm is located on Route 211, east of Sperryville. Croquet Classic
Grey Ghost of Amissville, will have their 5th Annual Croquet classic on Saturday, April 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations required to play, $30 includes games, t-shirt, logo glass and glass of wine. Seeking young ladies
Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department is seeking young ladies between the ages of 1 -21 to compete for the following titles: Little Miss, ages 1-7, Junior Miss, ages 8-15 and Miss Honorary Fire Chief, ages 16-21.
