Open House
Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company 1 will hold an Open House and Ice Cream Social on Sunday, May 1 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. to celebrate the completion of the new bay building. Free ice cream will be available. A special award will be presented to the Thrift Shop at 2 p.m.
Hidden Treasures of Rappahannock
Quilts are being displayed for the first time by the Rappahannock County Quilt Club on Sunday, May 1 at the Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Hall from 12 noon to 4 p.m. These quilts have been lovingly crafted, some made exclusively by hand, some made using newer techniques and technology. Come see examples of our mother and grandmothers needlework skills as well as our own vibrant new creations.
