The Rappahannock Historical Society has had some really bad luck. Due to a power surge with a storm, one of our computers was “Med”. This was a computer that had the working files on it of the museum inventory and the working files for the transcriptions of the Chancery Records. We didn’t realize that we didn’t have a back up on this particular computer (after all we are volunteers interested in historical preservation, not “computer whiz kids”).
