It’s supposed to be warm when it’s spring time right? I mean it was what, 70 degrees for a few days and we all had on shorts and T-shirts and then this weekend it’s back down to 50 degrees and we all have on long pants and coats.
Still, I do believe Spring is finally here, what with all of the trees and flowers in bloom and the birds building their bests. Speaking of which, the pair of swallows who built a nest in the roof over our front porch last year are back and joined by a pair of sparrows, at least I think they’re sparrows anyway.
I started to remove the swallow’s nest last year but after watching them for a while I decided they had a right to live there to. My wife says everytime her or members of our immediate family would venture too close to the porch the birds would come within inches of hitting them in the head.
