Therefore, no properties hi the secondary service will be connected to the renovated town water and sewer service until the town government is satisfied that there is capacity to fill the needs of both existing and potential new structures within the primary service area. Tbwn Attorney John Bennett considered the focus on water for the town core to be positive.

“One of the strengths of this plan is that the secondary is not competing with the town core, ” said Bennett.

Concerns were expressed during the meeting about the time frame for extending sewer and water to the secondary service area. Planning Commission Chairman Gary Schwartz pointed out that the time was undefined.

“There is no magic five year plan, it just might not come up until the next comprehensive plan,” explained Schwarz.
