Harley down 1 The only motorcycle accident over the weekend to buck the trend of groups of high speed motorcyclists happened in Sperryville near the intersection of Route 522 and US 211 at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
James Jons of Clifton, VA totaled his 2005 Harley V-ride when he collided with a 1999 Dodge Ram driven by Zachary Skinner of Madison, VA. Skinner pulled onto the highway in front of Jons’ bike, and Jons was unable to avoid hitting Skinner’s truck. Jons’ received lacerations on both arms and Skinner was charged with failure to yield-right-of way by State Trooper Derek Mauck.
