Two positions available with the Capital Projects Team located in the Departments of Parks, Recreation and Community Services to manage complex building and site infrastructure projects during the planning, programming, design, bidding, and construction phases. Reviews engineering / architectural design and resolves design and construction issues. Performs construction field management and monitors contractor project documentation. Serves as a technical liaison for civil and architect resources. Applicants must have the ability to work extensively with citizens, developers and contractors, ■ interdepartmental and multijurisdictional representatives, and have excellent engineering, construction and customer service skills. Provides support as needed to other project managers. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, architecture, construction management or related field and at least 3 years experience in construction/project management including 6 month's individual or team project experience.
